Fabian Simon is Head of Commercial Management U.S. for DHL Global Forwarding’s Industrial Projects business. He started his career in operations in Germany, moved into project management and now works on the commercial side of the business in the U.S.
Most of his career has been spent around complex project cargo, from heavy lift and oversized moves to multimodal industrial projects in different parts of the world. What has kept him interested in the industry is that no two projects are quite the same, and the best answer is rarely just the cheapest or most obvious one.
In his current role, Fabian works across pricing, commercial development and new business for Industrial Projects in the U.S. He approaches opportunities with an operations mindset, focusing on what the customer needs, what will actually work, and how to build the right solution around it.
