Andrew Young

Corporate Manager of Logistics and Manager BGL Bechtel Global Logistics

Andrew Young is the Corporate Manager of Logistics and Manager of Bechtel Global Logistics, responsible for developing a coordinated logistic strategy across all business units. His focus is on; advancing and integrating logistics across the full spectrum of projects – from feasibility studies to project execution, supporting ‘EPC’ integration, and delivering optimized solutions to projects and clients based on cost, schedule and risk mitigation. He provides leadership and guidance to logistics
staff deployed on projects globally, and a centralized core team responsible for maintaining a functional logistics support structure that provides direct assistance to individual projects, optimizes synergies across projects, and institutes processes and procedures that standardize best practice across the company. 

Andy’s Bechtel experience includes three years as the Transport Assurance Manager – where he was recognized as a ‘Bechtel Distinguished Technical Specialist’ [BDTS], three years as the OG&C Functional Logistics Manager, two years as the Chartering Supervisor for the Wheatstone LNG Project and two years in the field as the In-Country Logistics Manager for the Curtis Islands LNG projects in Australia.  Prior to Bechtel, Andy worked as a Technical Project Logistics Manager for Alstom Power in Switzerland and prior to that he was a Commercial Manager (Sales, Tendering and Project Management) for Abnormal Load Engineering in the UK.  


 

Bill Keyes

Director of Logistics Fluor

Bill is an experienced and proven leader with over 25 years of logistics and supply chain experience. He has spent much of his career in the field and has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, North and East Africa, and Asia. This experience has given him a comprehensive perspective of the importance of early planning and setting a logistics strategy for the successful execution of capital projects. He has a wealth of expertise in the project sector, supporting Fluor's Energy, Urban, and Mission Solutions business lines. 
 
He is currently the Fluor Logistics Lead on a net-zero carbon emissions integrated ethylene cracker and derivatives project. His previous professional experience is as a Director of Construction Logistics for NEOM and Fluor's Global Director for Logistics Operations. He retired from the US Army in 2012. 

 

Dennis Devlin

Managing Director - USA DT Project America

Dennis Devlin is Managing Director, DT Project America, a project logistics provider and asset based trucking company.  DT Project is a subsidiary of the larger DIMOTRANS Group, headquartered in France. Dennis has spent most of his career in various roles in project logistics.

Prior to his current role he held various roles with Maersk Project Logistics.  He also held various positions for BDP International (now PSA-BDP) in Philadelphia, at BDP’s corporate headquarters, in Shanghai where he had regional responsibility for project logistics in Asia, and later in Houston.  He also worked previously in the Panprojects Division of Panalpina,  for DB Schenker and for GEODIS. 

Dennis also serves on the Editorial Board of Breakbulk Magazine and on the Advisory Board for the Breakbulk Americas Conference.  He has been a past speaker at various Breakbulk Americas Conferences since the early 2000s.

Dennis is a native of Wilmington, Delaware, and a 1987 honors graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, with degrees in Economics and Political Science.  He also pursued studies in Glasgow, Scotland, where he struggled to understand Glaswegian English; in Paris, France where he studied (and learned) French; and in Taipei, Taiwan and Shanghai, China, where he studied Mandarin Chinese.

Ed Bastian

Global Sales Director BBC Chartering USA

Edwin Bastian joined BBC Chartering  in August 0f 2007. He currently serves as Global Sales Director and leads the strategic sales initiative for the largest global breakbulk and project chartering fleet in the world.  

During Ed’s 40 year career, he has held management positions with following companies, NYK North America, Evergreen Marine, Port of Long Beach, Jones Stevedoring and Nautilus Leasing, UBS and Morgan Stanley.

Ed is an active member of various industry organizations including International Transportation Management Association of Houston, Railway Industrial Clearance Association, Editorial Advisory Board for Breakbulk Magazine, Breakbulk Americas Program Advisory Board and serves on the board of Maritime Workers Emergency Medical Fund, a Texas 501©(3). Ed also is frequently invited as a guest speaker and panelist at trade luncheons and events both inside and outside the Houston area.
 

Iker Domingo

Vice President of Chartering & Projects SAL Heavy Lift, Inc

Iker Domingo is the VP of Chartering & Projects for SAL Heavy Lift, member of the JSI Alliance.
He has worked in the transportation and logistics industry for over 20 years, holding different positions in operations, chartering and business development. 
Since 2014, Iker works for SAL Heavy Lift in Houston in several chartering and project development roles.

In 2008, he graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor in Business administration and holds a MBA from Mccombs University of Texas.
 

Jake Swanson

Chief Commercial Officer DHL Industrial Projects

Jake Swanson is the Regional Head of the Americas Region for DHL Industrial Projects. He has worked with DHL for 5 years in various capacities within the Industrial Projects group.  He has worked in the transportation and logistics industry for over 20 years, and has experience on the EPC, Project ocean carrier and freight forwarder sides of the industry. He graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation and then spent a year sailing on container vessels. Swanson holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Houston.

His experience encompasses the fields of ocean, air and surface transportation. For more than 45 years he has had international and North American positions in the fields of logistics, procurement and construction management.

Kasey Eckstein

President Eckstein Trade & Transport

Kasey Eckstein is the current executive director of Women in Maritime Operations and was the founder of the organization in 2017. She is also the founder and president of Eckstein Trade & Transport “ET&T”, a certified woman-owned small business specializing in marine transportation services and recruitment services specializing in female placement. Kasey is also the owner of Eckstein Fleeting Services. Kasey graduated from the College of Charleston with a bachelor's degree in corporate communications with a concentration in marketing. She has over a decade of experience in the maritime industry with expertise in transporting liquid and dry cargoes via barge along the entire U.S. Inland Waterway System. Kasey has previously served as the youngest board member in the history of the Mississippi Valley Trade and Transport Council, was the youngest recipient of the Inland Marine Expos 40 Under 40 Award in 2018 and was a Marine Log Magazine Top Woman in Maritime in 2021. Kasey also currently sits on the board of Breakbulk Americas.

Leandro Brusque

Special Projects Manager Share Logistics

Leandro Brusque is Special Projects Manager at Share Logistics, leading the development of special initiatives and new business opportunities, with a strategic focus on the Oil & Gas sector. He assumed this role in February 2025, leveraging his extensive executive background in global logistics and supply chain management.
With over 30 years of experience across the maritime, energy, and industrial logistics sectors, Leandro has held senior leadership positions at major multinational companies, including Ocyan, Subsea 7, and Odebrecht Logística. He has spearheaded the development of complex supply chain strategies and managed large-scale projects across the Americas and Europe, excelling in contract negotiation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

A graduate of the Merchant Marine Officers Training School in Rio de Janeiro, Leandro also holds an MBA in Business Logistics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and an extension in Foreign Trade from UERJ. He is fluent in Portuguese and English and has served as a speaker at leading industry events such as Breakbulk Americas and Amcham Brazil.

Marco Poisler

Adjunct Professor, University of Houston Cullen College of Engineering, COO – Global Energy & Capital Projects, UTC Overseas, Inc.

Marco Poisler, a key figure in global logistics, serves on UTC's Global Executive Management Team and Board of Directors. Born in Jersey City, he studied economics at Georgetown University and earned a Master's in Transportation from SUNY Maritime. Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, with working knowledge of Ukrainian, Mr. Poisler has been instrumental in establishing strategic Global Energy & Capital Project offices worldwide.

As an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston's Cullen Engineering Supply Chain & Logistics Technology Program, Marco teaches "Project Logistics" developed by Margaret Kidd. He is currently pursuing an Executive Doctorate in Business Administration at UH Bauer, focusing on the intersection of AI and logistics under the guidance of Dr. Meng Li, founder of the Human-Centered AI Institute. This cutting-edge research complements his extensive industry experience, bridging theoretical advancements with practical applications in global supply chains.

Mr. Poisler’s community involvement includes serving on the Houston Maritime Education Center board and various trade associations. He co-authored the textbook "Project Logistics: The Universal Transportation Course."

With a strong background in economics, transportation, global logistics, and insights into emerging technologies, Mr. Poisler continues to make significant contributions to UTC Overseas and the industry. His leadership, combined with his commitment to education, innovative research, and community involvement, positions him as a key figure in shaping the future of global transportation and logistics.
