Women in Breakbulk Americas: Stepping Up to Tackle Today’s Unprecedented Challenges
The Women in Breakbulk program at Breakbulk Americas 2025 enters a new phase. After four years of building a strong industry network, it’s time to step up and confront the challenges shaping our industry today. Women deserve a seat at the decision-making table, and this luncheon will offer insights to help clarify a rapidly changing landscape. Our skill-building session will focus on collaboration—an essential tool in both strategic planning and daily operations. Join us for an afternoon of practical guidance, real conversation, and plenty of networking.
Your Space to Grow, Share, and Succeed in Breakbulk
This program is by women, for women—created by those who understand the opportunities and obstacles of working across sectors, and who may still find themselves as the only woman in the room—whether that’s a ship, a jobsite or a boardroom. Women from all sectors and from all career stages are welcome.
Following expert talks on procurement and tariffs, energy and infrastructure projects, and challenges for transport and logistics providers, we’ll open it up to the audience for questions. After lunch, we’ll hear from this year’s industry panel that will share real-world stories of collaboration from across the breakbulk sector—serving as a springboard for our interactive activity, where you’ll explore a team approach to solving challenges through industry-inspired scenarios.
The luncheon is intentionally scheduled at the start of Breakbulk Americas so you can build new connections from the outset. Continue those conversations on the show floor and in the Women in Breakbulk Lounge—and look to these relationships as the foundation for long-term collaboration and business growth.
