From Early Interest to Industry Leadership: Bringing More Women Into Breakbulk
This year’s Women in Breakbulk Breakfast will focus on practical ways to bring more women into the industry through outreach, mentoring and the personal connections that help open the door. Women from across the industry will share the many career paths available in project work and the role early exposure combined with the encouragement from friends and family can play in helping women find their way in.
The program will also highlight what younger women can contribute, especially in AI and other digital skills, to give teams a competitive advantage and bring them closer together.
Attendees are encouraged to bring daughters or young women in their lives, ages 16 and up, to meet the remarkable women shaping this industry.

Created by women, for women, this two-day programme brings together industry professionals and the next generation for meaningful connection, learning and opportunity.
On Tuesday, September 22, start with the Women in Breakbulk Networking Breakfast, open to daughters and young women, featuring a keynote, industry panel, interactive session and wellness activity. The lounge then opens with networking, an AI image station and an Industry AI for Beginners workshop.
On Wednesday, the programme continues with morning yoga, an internship workshop, a Career Starters Roundtable and a closing celebration. Across both days, the lounge is your hub for networking, mentoring and hands-on experiences.
