Brandy Evans has spent nearly over a decade building her career in transportation and logistics and currently serves as Terminal Manager with Santini Export Packing and 7 Santini Brothers Trucking in Houston. She has a particular passion for the hands on side of the industry, from export packing and trucking to solving the unusual challenges that come with breakbulk and project cargo.

Brandy is also a wife to her husband Cameron and new mom to her son, Colton. Outside of work, she has a passion for animal rescue and works with active rescue organizations throughout the Houston area. She enjoys connecting with other women in the industry, sharing what she has learned along the way, and never passes up an opportunity to talk logistics or show off a picture of Colton.

Shelby Blevins is a maritime professional specializing in Jones Act tanker operations at MJLF & Associates, with prior experience in international tanker operations. She earned her B.S. in Maritime Business Administration from Texas A&M University at Galveston, where she is currently pursuing a Master’s in Maritime Business and Logistics.

Shelby also serves as Director of the Junior Chapter for Women in Maritime Operations (WIMOs), helping connect maritime students and young professionals with the broader industry. As an early-career professional, she brings a next-generation perspective on career development, workplace culture, and what attracts and retains young talent in the maritime industry.
 

Starla Niccum

Starla Niccum earned her Master of Maritime Business Administration & Logistics from Texas A&M University at Galveston in 2025. During her final semester, she completed an internship with Eckstein Trade & Transport, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the maritime industry that transitioned into a full-time position.

While at Texas A&M, Starla served as Vice President of the Women in Maritime Operations (WIMOs) junior chapter, fostering professional development and industry engagement. She currently leads the logistics department for Eckstein Trade & Transport, overseeing vessel and barge operations, coordinating transportation and logistics solutions across the inland waterways.
