Lorena is originally from Managua, Nicaragua. She studied in Guadalajara, Mexico, for two years and traveled all over Mexico, embracing the scenery and culture.

Lorena met her husband in Mexico who is from Puerto Rico. Once married, Lorena and her husband moved to Florida where they started their family.
-
A few years later, they moved to Puerto Rico where Lorena spent over 10 years working in freight forwarding, mainly with pharmaceuticals and some oversized cargo.

In 2014, Lorena and her family moved to Houston where she dove deep into oil and gas, renewables, and industrial accounts as a branch manager. She has lived in Houston ever since.

Lorena joined Fluence in January 2022 as logistics operations manager for the Americas.

Lorena and her team have managed and successfully delivered thousands of energy storage batteries and components to sites in the U.S. mainland, Canada and Chile.
