US Flag Chartering Specialist Phillips 66

Kelly Sheridan is a seasoned maritime professional with nearly three decades of experience in vessel operations, scheduling, and chartering. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from Texas A&M University at Galveston (TAMUG), a foundation that launched her into a dynamic career in the maritime industry. 

Her journey began in 1997 at Kirby Inland Marine, where she started as a Voyage Coordinator and advanced into scheduling roles, gaining hands-on expertise in inland marine logistics. In 2007, she transitioned to Odfjell Chemical Tankers, serving as a Vessel Port Operator and Transshipment Coordinator, where she managed complex port operations and transshipment logistics for chemical cargoes. 

In 2017, Kelly joined Phillips 66, initially as an International Operations Coordinator. Her role expanded into Marine Assurance, where she spent two years ensuring safety and compliance across marine activities. She currently serves as a US Flag Chartering Specialist, leveraging her operational insight to optimize vessel chartering strategies. 

Beyond her corporate roles, Kelly is deeply committed to advancing women in maritime. She has been an active leader in WIMOs (Women in Maritime Operations), serving as Vice President during the formation of the Houston Chapter and stepping into the role of Chapter President in March 2022.
