Holly Kesterson is returning to the Harris County – Houston Sports Authority (HCHSA) as chief operating officer, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her recent role as president and co-founder of the marketing and events agency, Relevant Worldwide. Holly previously served as the vice president of events for HCHSA, where she was a key member of the team for nearly nine years, specializing in sales, event management and execution. Throughout her career, Holly has led numerous high-profile events, including youth, collegiate, professional and international sports competitions, leaving a lasting impact on the city's sports and events landscape. 

Notably, Holly served as president of the 2023 NCAA Men’s Final Four Houston Local Organizing Committee, a major milestone in her career. She has been an influential leader in the sports industry, recognized with the prestigious 2018 Game Changer Award by the National Association of Sports Commissions for her outstanding contributions to both the industry and her organization. 

A passionate advocate for sports and community, Holly earned a bachelor's degree in Sports, Entertainment, and Event Management from Johnson & Wales University, where she also played for the Women’s Basketball team as a student-athlete. She furthered her education with a master's degree in Sports Administration from the University of Northern Colorado. Holly's extensive background also includes roles with the United States Olympic Committee and USA Boxing before relocating to Houston.
