Arnold Castro
Assistant Dean of AI of Mays Business School Texas A&M University
Arnold Castro is a technology leader with over 26 years of experience spanning aerospace, manufacturing, oil and gas, finance, and defense. For the past 13 years, his focus has been on the transformative power of artificial intelligence.
He currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Artificial Intelligence at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University — the first role of its kind at any business school in the United States. In this capacity, he leads efforts to integrate AI into business education and strategy, preparing future leaders for an increasingly AI-driven world.
Arnold holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Campbell University, along with both an MBA and a Master’s in Analytics from Mays Business School. Earlier in his career, he served in the U.S. Army as a combat engineer with the 82nd Airborne Division, an experience that continues to inform his disciplined and mission-driven approach to leadership and innovation.
