Sandor Kato is the Logistics Head for GT US Transformers and Switchgears at Siemens Energy, where he leads the team responsible for executing transformer and switchgear logistics projects across the United States. Since joining Siemens Energy in 2023 as a Logistics Project Manager, he has advanced into his current leadership role overseeing complex transportation projects and a global supplier network. With more than 12 years of experience in the energy industry, Sandor has built his career across logistics, supply chain management, procurement, customer service, and project execution through roles at Siemens Energy, Enbridge, and LyondellBasell. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Supply Chain Management, he is passionate about developing future industry leaders, mentoring logistics professionals, and sharing the diverse career opportunities available within supply chain and project logistics. Sandor looks forward to sharing his career journey, lessons learned, and advice for students preparing to enter the workforce.
