Analysis & Planning Manager - Container Terminals Port Houston

Christopher Kalwick is the Analysis & Planning Manager for Container Terminals at Port Houston and an alumnus of the University of Houston. In his current role, he oversees analytics, forecasting, capital planning, and budgeting for the Barbours Cut and Bayport Container Terminals. Since graduating from the University of Houston’s Supply Chain Logistics & Technology program in 2019, Chris has held roles across a variety of terminal operations, including gate logistics, customer service, rail operations, and vessel operations. His experience in both operations and analytics allows him to bridge the gap between frontline performance and strategic planning, translating operational insights into informed business decisions. Chris also serves on San Jacinto College’s Global Logistics Advisory Committee, helping guide students toward careers in the maritime and logistics industry.
