Sabine Surveyors is a full-service marine surveying and consulting firm founded in 1968 by Don Hale, USMMA, Class of 1948. At present Sabine has nine (9) office locations: Corpus Christi, Houston, Port Arthur, Lake Charles, New Orleans, Mobile, Cape Canaveral, Norfolk, and Paducah and a staff of over 55 full time employees.
Sabine's service offerings include bulk and project cargo surveys, hull and machinery surveys, damage surveys, P&I surveys, on-hire, and off-hire bunker and/or vessel condition surveys, vessel appraisals, vessel audits, management audits, shipyard representation services, CFR 46 Subchapter M compliance services and vendor audits. As an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified organization, we have established quality procedures in most product offerings. Sabine also boasts over 15 Certified Marine Surveyors (NAMS-CMS) on staff, which is more than any other company in the world.
