Port of Morgan City

The Port of Morgan City is strategically located at the intersection of the Atchafalaya River and the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway in South Central Louisiana providing easy access to the U. S. Inland River System and the Gulf of America via the 20' deep by 400' wide federally authorized Atchafalaya River Channel.

The Port's Multimodal Marine Terminal Facility, which offers a 20-foot berth depth, warehouse and storage areas, and on-site rail, can handle bulk, break-bulk, project and container cargoes.
