Aorta (Adams Ohio River Transit Access)

AORTA (Adams Ohio River Transit Access) is a specialized RoRo, heavy-lift, project cargo, and multimodal logistics facility located on the Ohio River in Adams County, Ohio.

The 40-acre private site is designed to support roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) operations, heavy-lift activities, transloading, staging, secure storage, and marshalling of oversized and overweight project cargo. AORTA provides EPC contractors, plant and facility owners, OEMs, and project logistics providers with a strategic location to receive, consolidate, stage, store, and sequence critical project cargo prior to final delivery.

With direct Ohio River access and capabilities to accommodate barges, SPMTs, heavy-haul transporters, cranes, and gantry systems, AORTA serves as a centralized logistics hub for complex industrial, energy, infrastructure, and construction projects throughout the Ohio River Valley
