2019’s a very special year for Breakbulk Americas. It’s our 30th anniversary and we’re in the mood to celebrate!
From the tiniest of seeds the mightiest of sequoia grows, and it’s the same for Breakbulk. Back when we took our first tentative steps into the wild and exciting world of exhibitions, we only had a handful of attendees. Now, you won’t find an event like Breakbulk Americas anywhere in the region.
More than 4,700 project cargo professionals ascend on Houston each year to enjoy what Breakbulk has to offer.
Over 1,500 companies, 450 shippers and 325 exhibitors choose Breakbulk Americas every year. It’s not just companies from North, South and Central America, though. We welcome participants from 69 countries, representing the full range of industry sectors.
Take a walk through the exhibition hall and you’ll find freight forwarders, sea and transport owners, port and terminal operators, equipment suppliers, and many more sector players. You’ll feel like a kid in a project cargo candy store.
We’re talking big names at Breakbulk. Over the years, we’ve welcomed the likes of Bechtel, Halliburton, ExxonMobil, Siemens, Lockheed Martin, NASA, BP and hundreds more multi-nationals. They know they can find the services and expertise they require to move their ultra-heavy and out-of-gauge loads at every show.
With a targeted content program of world class events, guest speakers, Breakbulk Americas is more than a networking event. It turns into a mini industry college, where you can learn from the experiences and knowledge of true project cargo pioneers.
Special workshops let you get enhance your skills in such vital areas as global compliance and freight management too, for a complete business boost.
With volatile trade markets, resurging projects and big infrastructure investment in Latin America, now is the time to get the business intelligence you need to be successful.
We’ve got plenty in store to help us celebrate our industry achievements over the past three decades.
For the first time this year, we’re launching a Latin American Pavilion on the show floor. We’ve also added LatAm project showcases to the content program, letting you see the real regional opportunities available throughout South and Central America.
A multimedia timeline focusing on our exciting growth and what we’ve achieved since our first event edition will be set up too, including milestone projects and transports – perfect for plotting the growth in project cargo since the late eighties.
We’ll also be preparing a special 30th Anniversary supplement for Breakbulk Magazine. Do you have any achievements or contributions your business made over the last 30 years? Let us know and share your success!
Lots more will be happening throughout the event, so make sure you’re at Breakbulk Americas 2019 to join in the fun.
We’ll be sharing our exhibitors page soon, but until then stay tuned to the Breakbulk Americas website for more updates.
If you want to be there, don’t forget to register. We look forward to seeing you in Houston this October.
