Rebecca Dunn
ECO Delivery & Sustainable Product Manager, Regional Surcharges and VAS Maersk
Rebecca Dunn is a Sustainable Product Manager at Maersk, where she serves as the North American focal for ocean climate regulations as well as Maersk’s flagship ocean decarbonization product, ECO Delivery. Rebecca works to educate internal and external stakeholders on the importance of ocean shipping decarbonization and leads discussions with sustainability and procurement professionals on the realities of what this might look like. Prior to joining Maersk in December 2022, Rebecca worked in a variety of roles across companies such as Meta, WWF, Boston University, and COIN, where she led research, copywriting, and grant writing on subjects such as China’s overseas finance, international development and decarbonization, impact investing, and other areas.
Rebecca has published in Environmental Research Letters and in the Conversation US regarding ocean shipping emissions and has volunteered in the cities where she has lived to educate citizens on small scale sustainable solutions. Rebecca received her Master’s degree from Boston University where she wrote her master’s thesis on, you guessed it, ocean shipping emissions.
