Senior Manager, Commercial – Bulk & Breakbulk DP World

Kurtis Dool is a Senior Manager of Commercial - Bulk & Breakbulk at DP World in Canada. In this role, he oversees all commercial activities related to breakbulk, bulk, rotainers, autos, and general stevedoring across multiple terminals, including Vancouver, Fraser Surrey, Nanaimo, and Saint John. Kurtis has been instrumental in executing high-impact projects such as Canada’s first rotainer operation and the construction of the first canola oil tank on the Fraser River. 

Prior to joining DP World, Kurtis gained over a decade of experience in business development, commercial sales, and marketing in the logistics and terminal industries. He served as Commercial Coordinator for Kinder Morgan Terminals, where he managed bulk customer contracts across North America and developed financial models to support terminal expansions. His previous roles also include Strategic Analyst at DB Schenker, where he provided analytical support for product management and sales, and Market Analyst & Business Developer at Al Moammar Information Systems in Saudi Arabia, where he helped create marketing strategies and plans. Kurtis holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management from Royal Roads University, a Diploma in International Trade & Transportation from BCIT, and professional certifications as a CITT-Certified Logistics Professional and Professional Logistician.
