Steve Hill is currently a member of McDermott’s Global Operations as Director and Global Lead of Logistics and Trade Compliance.
Steve has had a principle focus on international logistics and trade for over 35 years in the EPC industry beginning his career with Howe-Baker Engineers in 1984 as a project logistics coordinator.
In 1991, Steve joined the newly established company Petrofac International Ltd as its first Global Logistics Manager overseeing the transport of modular-designed plants to various global locations.
In 2003, Chicago Bridge & Iron Company (CB&I) acquired certain assets of Petrofac International US-based operations. Steve joined the CB&I organization as a Senior Logistics Manager with responsibilities for onshore capital projects.
In 2009, Steve relocated to CB&I’s headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas as part of the Global Supply Chain organization. During this time he formed and led the company’s global Trade Compliance efforts and was promoted to Global Operations as Director of Logistics & Trade Compliance.
In 2018, after the business combination of McDermott and CB&I, Steve transitioned into a new role as Director of Global Supply Chain Management for Logistics & Trade Compliance. He continues in this position utilizing his experience and leadership to support the global supply chain efforts while maintaining the company’s regulatory compliance of international trade.
