Sammy is the Logistics Estimating Manager for Bechtel Global Logistics. In this role Sammy is closely engaged with Bechtel’s Business Development and Estimating teams across Bechtel’s global business units to ensure that logistics philosophies are properly defined and established. Sammy leads a team that is responsible for logistics cost estimates in support of proposals and during project execution, as well as logistics market research and analysis.
Sammy has over 18 years of experience in the logistics industry, with the last 14 working for Bechtel in various project logistics roles. These capacities include logistics service contracting, ocean chartering management, project execution leadership, and logistics consultancy services.
Sammy holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and a master’s degree in Business Administration. Sammy has a Bechtel certification in Logistics and is a Six Sigma Yellow Belt. Sammy is also a licensed U.S. Customs Broker and actively supports Bechtel’s trade compliance group.
This session will bring various key stakeholders within the community together to show the amazing graduate opportunities that are available to students.
