Axel Kaldschmidt currently serves as the VM Head for Aerospace, Marine and Defense in the Americas for DB Schenker. In his current capacity he is responsible for commercial strategic development of the Aerospace, Marine and Defense vertical, partnerships and account management across the company’s multi-product portfolio and business units in the region. Mr. Kaldschmidt is a 35 Year veteran of the logistics industry encompassing extensive experience in commercial and operational roles. During this career he has developed and initiated management programs of several leading aerospace companies which included oversize and heavy transportation requirements within the supply chain and logistics environments.
