Port of Corpus Christi
The Port of Corpus Christi is the largest U.S. port in total revenue tonnage as well as the nation’s leading U.S. produced energy export gateway. The Port provides a straight, 47-foot channel, currently being dredged to 54 feet. Strategically positioned for commerce, the Port provides quick access to the Gulf of Mexico and the entire U.S. inland waterway system. Not to mention, the Port delivers outstanding access to overland transportation as well as direct vessel-to-rail discharge capabilities with access to three Class I railroads (BNSF, KCS and UP) and a short-line operated by Watco, on the Port’s own rail line, known as the Texas Coastal Bend Railroad. With an advanced security department, an ISO-14001 certified environmental management system and outstanding management and operations staff – it’s easy to see why the Port of Corpus Christi is a leader in Moving America’s Energy.
