Philip Ovanessians is currently the Senior Director of Koch Industries’ Logistics Group, KBX. He is the capital project logistics lead for all the Koch affiliates. Prior to this role Philip was part of the Commercial and Prime Contracts Group of Koch Industries. He was Vice President of Supply Chain of Jacobs Engineering. Vice President of Commercial Management for Samsung C&T. He also has held past commercial and supply chain roles at Jacobs Engineering, Fluor, Samsung C&T, and Mobil Oil. Philip has lived and worked in Lithuania, Russia, France, Kazakhstan, Australia, South Korea, Singapore, China, and the Americas.
Philip has a Master of Engineering at Clemson University, Construction Engineering at Purdue University and Louisiana State University, and an ungraduated in Engineering and Logistics at The Ohio State University.
Digitalization and technological advancements are changing the nature of business across all sectors on a global scale, albeit the speed and methods of transitioning has not been uniform. This has led to a disconnect between players across the supply chain, which has at times hindered how much progress is possible. This session will bring together key stakeholders, who will discuss what type of investments are currently being made, the reach and usage of key systems in the market, and what compromises must be made to achieve more efficient advances in digitalization.
