Holly Normand, Dry Cargo Sales Sr. Representative at Ingram Barge Company. Ingram began as a family-owned and operated organization and continues as one today. Headquartered in Nashville Tennessee Ingram’s fleet is made up of more than 150 towboats, ranging up to 10,500HP, and nearly 5,000 hopper and tank barges. Along with barge fleeting locations in Reserve, LA., Port Allen, LA., Columbus, KY, and Paducah, KY, Ingram transports dry and liquid commodities on over 4,500 miles of America’s inland waterways.

Holly began working for Ingram Barge Company in 2006 at the Reserve, LA location in Customer Service handling logistics and customers’ needs in the gulf region. In 2014, she moved to Vessel Operations where she managed Ingram’s fleeting facility and 4 vessels at Capital Fleet in Port Allen, LA. Also handling vessel safety and compliance.

Then in 2017 she made the move to Dry Cargo Sales Team handling the Gulf region. Assisting customers that move various cargos and offer creative solutions for their needs.   

In 2018 Holly became the Executive President on the board of Women in Maritime Operations (WIMOs) which is an organization of women who are actively employed in the maritime industry. WIMOs is dedicated to retaining, advancing and promoting women in the maritime industry through sharing knowledge and continuing education.

In 2019 she was also elected to serve as a Board member on Mississippi Valley Trade and Transportation Council Board.

This program is designed to attract the next generation of leaders through executive-led instruction and networking.

This year we are organizing a shorter program to allow for more networking with industry professionals. The two morning sessions will speak to the heart of the project cargo and breakbulk industry today, which is undergoing rapid change.  The sustainability session will provide a look at environmental issues impacting the industry and trends to provide a solid path for the future. In the leadership session, the speaker will discuss what it takes to be successful in an industry where no two days are ever the same.

Approved students attend this event for free. Interested students should check with their educators to be added to their school lists. Students are allowed only as a group from a posted institution or with prior approval from Elizabeth.Wetzel@breakbulk.com. Non-students pay $300 as an add-on to registration.
