Gary Burrows’ career spans nearly four decades in editing and publishing. A 33-year veteran of business journalism, he’s focused on international shipping and logistics, supply chain management, regulatory and management issues, including multimodal transport, ports, carriers and infrastructure. He joined Breakbulk Events & Media in December 2011 and was promoted from managing director to editorial director in September 2013, guiding Breakbulk’s industry-leading media products. Burrows previously served nearly 22 years with American Shipper, including more than a dozen years as managing editor, leading staff in producing its magazine, website and Daily NewsWire, which were acquired by FreightWaves in July 2019.
