Complex delivery of equipment to the construction site of the Amur Gas Processing Plant (1st phase)

The Amur Gas Processing Plant (AGPP), being built by Gazprom -Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC together with NIPIGAZ JSC (SIBUR), will become the largest natural gas processing plant in Russia and the second largest in the world. The plant will be an important link in the technological chain of future supplies of natural gas to China through the “Power of Siberia” gas pipeline.
Barrus Projects team together with their Chinese partner COSCO SHIPPING Project Logistics successfully completed the complex delivery of equipment (1st phase) for the needs of CPECC (China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation) from the ports of Zhangjiagang and Tianjin in China to a specialized pier of the Amur Gas Processing Plant on the Zeya River, Amur Region with a total volume of 10 431 freight tons.
Main ODCs:
One of the most critical and dangerous operations as part of the project was the offloading of oversized cargo (OOG) in the sea port of De Kastri from the MV BBC “Mont Blanc” sea vessel to 5 (five) barge towing units, ownership of the Amur Shipping Company JSC.
All transhipment, placement and securing of goods operations were carried out by specialists of Barrus Projects. To add, Barrus Projects also carried out full customs clearance service for that consignment.
All works have been successfully completed and cargo was delivered to the pier of the Amur Gas Processing Plant on time, according to schedule of construction of the Amur GPP. Part of equipment delivered by Barrus Projects has already been installated at the job site of the Amur GPP:
